Kebour Ghenna is currently Executive Director of the Pan African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PACCI), a leading organization representing the interests of business and trade associations in Africa, and the President of Initiative Africa, an education focused NGO operating in Ethiopia. Prior to coming to the PACCI, Kebour was founder and CEO of local technology company (INFOTEC), and a Management Consulting firm (IPD). He served as board member of the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, Abyssinia Bank, and the National Fertilizer Company.
He also served as a staff member and consultant for the UNECA (Addis Ababa), UNDP (New York), the WBI (Washington DC), IDRC (Ottawa) and various other national and international organizations. Kebour has written on a wide array of development and governance issues. He lectured at the Addis Ababa University and played a key role in the establishment of the School of Information Sciences. A post graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook, he is a regular contributor to Capital, a weekly newspaper he established in Ethiopia in 1996.
